In 2011, Sparrow Tree Greetings was birthed out of my passion for design and my love of celebrating sweet moments in life. After resigning from the workforce in February of 2011, my husband and I made the decision that I would stay at home full time which allowed me the opportunity to cultivate a love for homemaking. During that time, I found myself right back at the computer creating invitations and announcements. I just couldn't help it! With encouragement from my husband, family and friends, I began to think about offering my custom cards to people outside of my circle, and thus, Sparrow Tree Greetings was born.
It is my hope that my cards can bring a touch of whimsy to your sweet moments in life and help you to share your good news or celebration with those you care about most, all while pointing you (and others!) to the love of Jesus. He is the reason I live.
• A sinner by nature, I have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
• I’m happily married to a man of God, my most favorite quality about him.
• My first mission trip was to Uganda, East Africa in July of 2011. The people of that country hold a special place in my heart.
• I. Love. Ice Cream. I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And snacks in between. Everyday.
• I hate messes and don’t mind cleaning the house.
• Christmas is my favorite holiday. I still get giddy with excitement over decorating a tree, hanging stockings and waking up on Christmas morning.
• My husband and I hope to adpot someday.
• I love the Fall. Open windows, candles burning, chili in our crockpot and football games.
• I have a terrible green thumb that doesn’t match my dreams of having a garden one day.
• I’m a sucker for books and bookstores. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t have a book on my wish list.
• Photography is one of my favorite hobbies. I’m saving up for my first SLR.
